Geberit sealing gasket Ø 63x32 – Ref 816.418.00.1 | Concealed and exposed WC mechanism

I have listed here the 3 symptoms requiring replacement of theseal sealing Geberit:

1st symptom: Small bubbles form on the surface of the seal. These bubbles may look like a small blister on your hand. Their random placement interferes with the seal and causes a leak into the toilet bowl. This phenomenon is a defect. The only solution: replace the seal.

2nd symptom: The seal is whitish. The true "color" is transparent/opaque, but over time and with wear, the seal turns white. This condition is often accompanied by a ring of limescale that hinders the seal.

The damaged surface of the seal allows limescale to build up more quickly, causing more frequent leaks in the toilet bowl. I recommend replacing it if you find it in this condition.

3rd symptom: The gray seal ref:816,418This reference is part of a black series from Geberit. It bubbles much more than the others, as in the first symptom. I do not recommend keeping this seal, even if it does not yet have bubbles.
