Your single-flush mechanism uses 9 liters of water per flush. That's a lot... but that was the norm back then, in 1988.

Today, Geberit is aware of this excess water consumption and has planned an evolution of your toilet flush, in double flush (double flush): 3 liters for the small flush and 6 liters for the large flush.
The calculation is quickly done, especially if you have children at home ;)
