When the thickness between the support frame and the trigger plate is very great, extensions are necessary to allow the main rods to reach the trigger plate.

However, adding these extensions can result in a less stable attachment of the mounting frame. To address this, Geberit has provided four metal clamps to be placed on the frame to ensure a correct and stable attachment.
