Geberit type 212 mechanism seal Ø 52x23 | Ref 244.244.00.1 | Sigma 12 UP320, UP300, Delta 12 and Omega 12 concealed cisterns

I have listed here the 2 symptoms requiring replacement of theGeberit sealing gasket:

1st symptom:
Small bubbles form on the surface of the gasket. These bubbles may resemble a small blister on your hand. Their random placement interferes with the seal and causes a leak into the toilet bowl. This phenomenon is a defect. The only solution: replace the gasket.

2nd symptom:
The gasket is whitish. The true "color" is transparent/opaque, but over time and with wear, the gasket turns white. This condition is often accompanied by a ring of limescale that hinders the seal. Because the gasket's surface is damaged, limescale adheres more quickly, causing more regular leaks in the bowl. I recommend replacing it if you find it in this condition.
