This mechanism with its Geberit type 290 dual flush basin reference 282.300.21.2 is the highest quality on the market for toilet flushes. Geberit designed it for porcelain toilet cisterns whose lid hole must be between 12 mm and 38 mm or between 40 mm and 50 mm.

Its height adjustment allows it to adapt to all tank heights. You can also adjust the consumption of the small and large flushes.

My advice
If you have the older generation of Geberit mechanism, type 280 or type 250 Geberit, you can interchange it and clip it onto the old basin remaining at the bottom of the cistern. (This avoids having to dismantle the cistern).
