Here I will talk about this new Twinline 12 double touch mechanism

1. Evolution
2. Features
3. Malfunction
4. Successful Geberit maintenance

  1. Evolution

    The color
Geberit has visually evolved this mechanism. Before, it was green and white, now Geberit has evolved it to blue and white. Don't worry, it's compatible ;)
  2. Features

    Water saving🩵
This mechanism allows you to adjust the flush speed and the flush speed. These two settings are colored blue on the mechanism. The flush speed setting is located in the middle as a blue slider that you can slide horizontally. The flush speed setting is located at the bottom as a circle.

After your purchase, you will receive by email the water consumption chart for this Twinline 12 dual-touch mechanism and videos on how to adjust the water level. (Essential for adjusting water consumption).

    The installation

Removing this mechanism from the tank is complicated… But there is a method that makes it easier to install and even remove. This mechanism separates into two parts. The blue head of the mechanism can be removed with a twisting motion. The blue rod next to it can also lie down, while remaining attached to the mechanism. This way, it is easier to insert or remove the body of the mechanism from the tank. All you have to do is reinstall the head and straighten the rod until you hear a "clip".

After your purchase, you will receive my Twinline 12 dual-touch tank disassembly and reassembly tutorials by email.

  3. Dysfunction

The small flush toilet no longer works
This is a well-known defect in this mechanism, caused by a broken piece of plastic. This problem permanently separates the lower part of the mechanism (the main trunk) from the small upper part. The only solution: replace the mechanism.

    Limestone
When the mechanism is too encrusted with limescale, it can jam and no longer execute its small and large flush movements correctly. (Basically, the limescale hinders the movement from descending). I advise you to clean it well or replace it, if it is really in bad condition.

  4. Successful Geberit maintenance

    Successful repair
Successfully maintaining your Geberit wall-hung toilet is super simple. You need the right disassembly/reassembly guide and the corresponding spare parts. Lindsay and I managed to do just that by combining the two. To do this, simply identify your cistern by noting the reference number inside, then insert it into myGeberit search bar. It takes 2 minutes.

    We stay in touch ;)
