How does AQUASTOP detect leaks?

1. When the float fills the tank, two phenomena occur: First, it fills the float tank, then it is attracted by the magnets when it reaches its closing setpoint.

2. When you flush the toilet, the water in the tank will suddenly be emptied. The float will be weighted by the water in its tank, which will allow the magnets to be detached and the water to be turned on again.

Consider a leaking flush mechanism, with a drip in the bowl, slowly emptying the tank.

To detect this leak and stop the next flush, a small hole is judiciously placed at the bottom of the Aquastop tank, thus releasing the water from its tank at the same rate as the leak.

The magnets will not come loose, the Aquastop will switch to safety mode by stopping the filling of the tank. The absence of water in the tank will then be the signal of a leak problem.

After the repair, you will need to press the red button to reset the water.
